The Coordination Council was created in December 2000. The first meeting took place on 16 January 2001. There are therefore no records from the Coordination Council prior to 2001.
The Coordination Council was composed of the President, the Prosecutor and the Registrar. It was responsible for coordinating the activities of the three organs of the Tribunal in order to facilitate the efficient and effective achievement of its mission. The Coordination Council was chaired by the President and normally met on a monthly basis. See Rule 23bis, Rules of Procedure and Evidence, IT/32/Rev.19, adopted 1 December 2000 and 13 December 2000.
