The sub-fonds contains records documenting the activities associated with managing review proceedings. This includes review motion adjudication and the issuance of related decisions and orders, the preparation of review judgements, and communications of the Chambers with the parties and Registry staff during review proceedings.
Following a trial or appeal judgement, a review of the judgement could be requested when a new fact was discovered which was 1) not known at the time of the trial or appeals proceedings, 2) could not have been discovered through due diligence, and 3) could have been a deciding factor in the judgement. An application for review of the judgement could be submitted by the convicted person or, within one year after the final judgement has been pronounced, the Prosecutor. (Article 26, ICTY Statute, S/25704, 3 May 1993, and Rules 119 and 120, Rules of Procedure and Evidence, IT/32, adopted 11 February 1994).
