The series contains filings in the Kupreškić et al. case (IT-95-16).
A filing was a record related to the case which was submitted by a Chamber, a Judge, a Party or a Non-Party (“Submitting Party”) and entered in the Case File by the Court Records Office.
A Party was the Prosecutor or the Defence.
A Non-Party was the Registrar or any other individual or entity authorized to file records in a case before the Tribunal, including an amicus curiae, a State, an organization or an individual.
Examples of records submitted: briefs; decisions; orders; indictments; motions; notices; warrants; judgements.
The date of a filing was the date on which the Court Records Office entered the record in the Case File. This was often, though not always, the same as the date of the document itself.
NOTE. The date ranges of filings do not exactly match the dates of proceedings because there were filings in the case after proceedings concluded.
For the Kupreškić et al. case, there are filings in:
- pre-trial proceedings (IT-95-16-I and IT-95-16-PT), 3 November 1995 – 14 August 1998
- trial proceedings (IT-95-16-T), 17 August 1998 – 1 August 2002
- appeal proceedings (IT-95-16-A), 24 January 2000 – 12 July 2005
- review proceedings (IT-95-16-R), 30 January 2002 – 16 June 2004
- proceedings related to the enforcement of sentences of Josipović and Šantić (IT-95-16-ES), 19 December 2001 – 18 February 2009
There are also filings related to requests for interlocutory appeal under Rule 65, and motions for interlocutory appeal under Rule 73, during the trial and appeal.
