Activities around the use of experts and amicus curiae in judicial proceedings were governed by Rules 74, 74bis, 77(D)(i) and (ii), 91(B)(ii), 91(C)(ii) and 94bis of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence.

Directive on Allowances for Witnesses and Expert Witnesses, IT/200, issued on 1 January 2002 in English and French. It was revised once, with two corrigenda issued to revision 1. Revision 1 was issued on (IT/200/Rev.1); correction 1 was issued on (IT/200/Rev.1/Corr.1); correction 2 was issued on 19 March 2011 (IT/200/Rev.1/Corr.2).
