The series contains transcripts of court hearings in the Bagilishema case (ICTR-95-1A).

A transcript was a verbatim, written record of a court hearing or other proceeding.

Transcripts were produced in the Tribunal's official languages i.e. English and French.

The date of a transcript was the date of the hearing.

For the Bagilishema case, there are transcripts for:

• the pre-trial proceedings, 1 April 1999 – 25 October 1999, including the decision on prosecutor's motion for leave to file an amended indictment, 16 September 1999, the initial appearance of Ignace Bagilishema, 1 April 1999 and 18 September 1999
• the trial proceedings, 27 October 1999 – 7 June 2001, including the trial hearings, 27 October 1999 – 19 October 2000, and delivery of the trial judgement, 7 June 2001
• the appeal proceedings, 2 July 2002 – 3 July 2002, including the appeal hearing, 2 July 2002 and the delivery of the appeal judgement, 3 July 2002
