The series contains transcripts of court hearings in the Muhimana case (ICTR-95-1B).

A transcript was a verbatim, written record of a court hearing or other proceeding.

Transcripts were produced in the Tribunal's official languages i.e. English and French.

The date of a transcript was the date of the hearing.

For the Muhimana case, there are transcripts for:

• the pre-trial proceedings, 24 November 1999 – 29 March 2004, including the initial appearances of Mikaeli Muhimana, 24 November 1999 and 30 January 2004
• the trial proceedings, 29 March 2004 – 28 April 2005, including the trial hearings, 29 March 2004 – 20 January 2005, and delivery of the trial judgement, 28 April 2005
• the appeal proceedings, 15 January 2007 – 21 May 2007, including the appeal hearing, 15 January 2007 and the delivery of the appeal judgement, 21 May 2007
