- Scope and ContentThe wooden rifle was tendered by the Prosecution as exhibit 962 during the trial hearing in the Naletilić and Martinović case (IT-98-34) on 10 October 2002. The Martinović Defence team objected to the item being admitted as evidence, contesting the authenticity of it. The Trial Chamber ordered an independent forensic analysis of the item on 25 October 2002. The analysis was carried out by the Netherlands Forensic Institute. Their report, dated 19 December 2002, was filed on 12 February 2003. The wooden rifle was admitted by the Trial Chamber as Prosecution exhibit P962 in a written decision of 25 March 2003.
