The series contains audiovisual recordings of court proceedings in the Mucić et al. case (IT-96-21).

An audiovisual recording was made of each court hearing or other proceeding.

Recordings included protective measures, such as voice and/or face distortion, which were granted by a Chamber to protect the identity of a witness.

There were different versions of recordings:

• "Floor" recording: recording of what was spoken in the courtroom, in the language(s) in which it was spoken
• "English": recording of what was spoken in the courtroom, with English interpretation of speech in language(s) other than English
• "French": recording of what was spoken in the courtroom with French interpretation of speech in language(s) other than French
• "BCS": recording what was spoken in the courtroom with BCS interpretation of speech in languages other than BCS

For the Mucić et al. case, there are audiovisual recordings for:

• the pre-trial proceedings, 11 April 1996 - 17 January 1997, including the initial appearances of Zdravko Mucić and Hazim Delić, 11 April 1996, Zejnil Delalić, 9 May 1996, and Esad Landžo, 18 June 1996
• the trial proceedings, 10 March 1997 - 16 November 1998, including the trial hearings, 10 March 1997 - 13 October 1998, and delivery of the trial judgement, 16 November 1998
• appeal proceedings, 23 February 2000 - 20 February 2001, including the appeal hearings, 23 February - 10 June 2000, and delivery of the appeals judgement, 20 February 2001
• post-appeal sentence proceedings, 27 July - 9 October 2001, including sentencing hearings, 27 July and 21 September 2001, and delivery of the sentencing judgement, 9 October 2001
• sentencing appeal proceedings, 19 February 2002 - 8 April 2003, including a sentencing appeal hearing, 18 June 2002, a status conference, 28 October 2003, and delivery of the sentencing appeal judgement, 8 April 2003
