The series contains audiovisual recordings of court proceedings in the Vasiljević case (IT-98-32).

An audiovisual recording was made of each court hearing or other proceeding.

Recordings included protective measures, such as voice and/or face distortion, which were granted by a Chamber to protect the identity of a witness.

There were different versions of recordings:

• "Floor" recording: recording of what was spoken in the courtroom, in the language(s) in which it was spoken
• "English": recording of what was spoken in the courtroom, with English interpretation of speech in language(s) other than English
• "French": recording of what was spoken in the courtroom with French interpretation of speech in language(s) other than French
• "BCS": recording what was spoken in the courtroom with BCS interpretation of speech in languages other than BCS

For the Vasiljević case, there are audiovisual recordings for:

• the pre-trial proceedings, 26 October 1998 - 20 July 2001, including the review of the indictment, 26 October 1998, the initial appearance of Mitar Vasiljević, 28 January 2000, and the pre-trial conference, 20 July 2001
• the trial proceedings, 10 September 2001 - 29 November 2002, including the trial hearings, 10 September 2001 - 15 February 2002, and delivery of the trial judgement, 29 November 2002
• the appeal proceedings, 28 April 2003 - 25 February 2004, including the appeal hearing, 18 November 2003, and delivery of the appeal judgement, 25 February 2004
