The ICTY entered into agreements on the enforcement of sentences with:
Italy (6 Feb 1997), Finland (7 May 1997), Norway (24 Apr 1998), Austria (23 July 1999), Sweden (23 Feb 1999), France (25 Feb 2000), Spain (28 Mar 2000), Denmark (4 June 2002), the United Kingdom (11 Mar 2004), Belgium (2 May 2007), Ukraine (7 Aug 2007), Portugal (19 Dec 2007), Estonia (11 Feb 2008), Slovakia (7 Apr 2008), Poland (18 Sept 2008), and Albania (19 Sept 2008).
In addition, ad hoc agreements were entered into with Germany related to specific accused: Tadić (17 Oct 2000),Kunarac (14 Nov 2002), Galić (16 Dec 2008), Tarčulovski (16 June 2011), and Đorđević (28 July 2014).
Negotiations between the ICTY and States on the enforcement of sentences were carried out in conjunction with negotiations on witness relocation. Correspondence between the ICTY and States on enforcement of sentences, along with draft agreements and progress reports on negotiations, are located with those witness relocation records.
