The series contains transcripts of court hearings in the Stakić case (IT-97-24).

A transcript was a verbatim, written record of a court hearing or other proceeding.

Transcripts were produced in the Tribunal’s official languages i.e. English and French.

The date of a transcript was the date of the hearing.

For the Stakić case, there are transcripts for:

• the pre-trial proceedings for Milan Kovačević, 30 July 1997 - 12 May 1998, including his initial appearance, 30 July 1997
• the trial proceedings for Milan Kovačević, 6-17 July 1998, including his further appearance, 6 July 1998, and the trial hearings, 6-17 July 1998
• the pre-trial proceedings for Milomir Stakić, 28 March 2001 - 10 April 2002, including his initial appearance, 28 March 2001
• the trial proceedings for Milomir Stakić, 16 April 2002 - 31 July 2003, the trial preparation hearings under Rule 65 ter, 8 January 2002 - 31 March 2003, the trial hearings, 17 April 2002 - 15 April 2003, and delivery of the trial judgement, 31 July 2003
• the appeal proceedings for Milomir Stakić, 18 December 2003 - 22 March 2006, including the appeal hearings, 4-6 October 2005, and delivery of the appeal judgement, 22 March 2006
